Is Mortgage Recast Calculator really free?
Yes, completely. There are no plans, no trials, and no hidden fees. We don't sell ads or leads. The calculator is free and will stay that way.
Do you store my loan data?
No. All calculations happen on the server at the moment you submit the form. We don't log, store, or transmit your financial information anywhere.
How accurate are the results?
We use the same standard amortization formula your lender uses. Results should match your lender's calculations closely, but always confirm with your lender before making financial decisions.
What loan types does the calculator support?
The calculator works for any fixed-rate mortgage. Note that FHA, VA, and USDA loans typically don't support recasting — check with your lender first.
Can I use this on mobile?
Yes. Mortgage Recast Calculator is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets, and desktops. No app download required.
I found a calculation error — what do I do?
